Actor Ed Asner
I had the pleasure of bringing the legendary Ed Asner to the Jewish Repertory Theatre in June, 2019, to perform his one-man show, “A Man and His Prostate.” To broaden our community reach, I developed a collaborative series of events including a day at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute, a TV appearance with WBBZ and VIP events - all of which received tremendous news coverage.

Collaborations introduce people and groups to each other, building relationships and strengthening communities.
I had the honor of collaborating with Barbara Cole at Just Buffalo Literary Center for this event that included author presentations, Q&A and a book signing reception.
A choir of young refugees takes on 'Fiddler on the Roof'
One of my favorite collaborations was with Our Lady of Hope’s Catholic Church on Lafayette Avenue, when the junior choir performed Fiddler On the Roof in the Jewish Repertory Theatre, January, 2017. Three of the cast members came back a few years later to be part of a panel discussion, a collaboration with Shea’s Performing Arts Center, Arts Engagement and Education program.
Adena Potok Visits Buffalo

Season of Amy Herzog features playwright
NYC playwright Amy Herzog accepted my invitation to visit Buffalo, NY for opening night of her play “4000 Miles” presented at the Jewish Repertory Theatre at JRT, Feb. 2017. Collaborations included the Pulitzer Prize finalist participating in multiple events, including teaching a script writing class at Buffalo State College, meeting with Dramatist Guild members and joining the cast on stage for audience Q&A after the performance.
